Marrakech City Tour
Marrakech City Tour
After breakfast, we’ll go back in time to discover the mysteries of this amazing city, often called the Red City. We’ll start at the Bahia Palace, known for its exquisite gardens – built in the 19th century. It was built to be one of the greatest palaces of its time from which derives the name Bahia – meaning brilliance. After, we’ll amble through city streets at Morocco pace, like a king and queen, in our horse drawn carriage. We’ll visit the famous Majorelle Gardens, known internationally. Later, we’ll lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant. After mint tea, we’ll visit the koranic school, Ben Youssef, named after the Almoravid Sultan who made Marrakech a known place worldwide. This school is the largest Madrassa in Morocco. From here we venture to the Jewish Mellah to shop for the best leather and pottery Morocco can offer. We will continue our time travel through the Medina walls in the direction of the highest building in Marrakech. The Koutoubia Mosque, known as the mosque of the booksellers will fascinate. Follow your guide through the minaret while he explains to you the history of this marvel. Later we head for tea at sunset to enjoy the golden views of Jamaa El Fna Square.
